Meet Jay Weiser

Jay Wieser Talk Show.jpg

I am a consultant, advisor, strategist, and speaker, who guides and enables organizations to:

  • Decide where they want to go

  • Understand the context(s) they do and may operate in

  • Determine what to do and build a plan to get it done

  • Improve their preparedness and build resilience

So they can thrive in disruptive and uncertain times.

I have partnered with leaders in middle-market and Fortune/Forbes 500 companies for over 25 years. I have worked at the enterprise, business unit, and functional levels, guiding and facilitating clients' organizations from the board room and to the frontline.

I have learned from global thought leaders including a decade working alongside Drs. Robert Kaplan and David Norton, the creators of the Balanced Scorecard. I continuously expand and refresh my capabilities and integrate the best, latest business thinking with my own.

I help clients envision their future, improve their understanding of the environment, prepare for what lies ahead, and increase the value they create at the intersections of strategy, organization, and operations. This makes the improbable quite possible.

As a thought leader and subject matter expert, I have presented at conferences in the US and Europe, been cited on Forbes.com (see below), and authored articles for a Harvard Business School publication and other media platforms with readers on 6 of 7 continents.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University.

“Jay was instrumental in implementing a new strategic planning framework at our company by modifying the Kaplan-Norton model to fit the needs of a fast-growing Internet company. At the strategy formulation stage, Jay interviewed all senior stakeholders, challenging their assumptions, stretching them and ultimately helping drive the group to decisions and consensus around where they wanted to go and how to get there. I particularly appreciated his constant awareness of the need to link Strategy to operating priorities and his skill at facilitating executive and director meetings in a way that developed a shared understanding of the strategy.”

Scott W., VP-Strategy, Automotive Internet Services Provider
